Last Friday’s bestofguildford networking event at Guildford Rugby Club in Godalming was a resounding success with an excellent turnout despite the ongoing snow and cold weather conditions.
Around 50 attendees enjoyed food from local catering company Too Yummy while listening to some wise words from business coaching organisation ActionCOACH (how efficiently is your company running?) and television and video production specialist Retail Therapy TV (does your marketing material really tell your company’s story?)
While many of those attending were already members of the bestofguildford community, there were also several newcomers looking to join who were able to learn more about the benefits while networking with potential clients and customers. My business – Claire Dee Communications – has certainly found bestofguildford membership useful as a means of reaching my local target audience and finding local suppliers and companies that I know I can trust.
Overall the meeting was warm (great log fire) and welcoming and provided the perfect end to a frosty week. I’m looking forward to the February one already!
