A very small amount of vodka and aspirin, simultaneously administered could do wonders for your drooping tulips! Not very scientific, I grant you, but never-the-less a proven remedy.
If you have neglected that vase in the hallway, you could just rejuvinate it's wilting contents with a quick fix of vodka and aspirin - adding at least another day or two and whole new sense of purposes for the plant concerned.
