The Woking Amateur Operatic Society are amateur in name only – all their performances have been breathtaking and their latest production, Anything Goes, promises to be no exception.

Cole Porter’s musical tells the story of love and other mishaps aboard an ocean liner travelling from New York to London. Rich men, poor men, heiresses and criminals populate the decks in this fast-paced stage voyage. It features such hits as “Anything Goes,” “You’re the Top” and “I Get a Kick out of You” and has been delighting audiences since it was first performed in 1934.

The WAOS production runs next week at the Rhoda McGaw Theatre in Woking from 12-16 November. Tickets are £15 (but only £10 on Tuesday, the opening night!) and available through the WAOS Eventbrite page.
