The staff here made our mini break special. From the moment we arrived at reception we felt welcomed and looked after. The multi-national staff were unfailingly cheerful and friendly and one felt that they genuinely wanted us to have an enjoyable stay.
We booked a standard room as we were only there for 3 days, but although not huge it was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Another time I would opt for a lake view room as the grounds were attractive. Good quality hot drink selection in the room too. The food was excellent and beautifully presented, obviously cooked to order.
The breakfast buffet was of a very high standard and again the waiting staff were always on hand for coffee top-ups and whatever else was requested.
The pool and changing area was warm and clean, with a hot outdoor jacuzzi and sheltered seating area with loungers for sunbathing.
The bar/lounge area had plenty of comfy seating for relaxing and there was no pressure to order drinks or food, but staff were quick to notice if we did wish to order.
We came away feeling relaxed and chilled out!

I advised my sister and her family to book this hotel as i live nearby. I wasn't sure if it would meet their international standards as they travel extravagantly. The feedback they gave me was pleasant. They told me that every morning they went for breakfast,It was always exceptional. They also commented on how friendly and professional staff were during their stay and especially the Bar manager was particularly attentive, he made them feel very welcome. They promised they will visit again.

Terrace bar new menu Ramen main course is Fantastic everyone must come and try lovely people and great service also the spa is good to lovely pool and like the food afternoon teas too and I am so happy I renewed my membership for another year

I visited this hotel over the Easter weekend. I give 5stars for everything overall. The hospitality is great. The front desk staff were very welcoming and very helpful. Being Easter, we found gifts in our room for our son and this made all the difference for him. There are several restaurants in this hotel but we dinned at the main restaurant near the lobby and again, the food was great and the staff were wonderful. We noticed a good touch with fresh flowers on every table and it was the same thing in all communal areas and the bar too which created a great atmosphere. The bar is superb and has a nice ambience. The bar staff are awesome, we met the manager Adem who was constantly busy, personally serving at the bar and walking around to make sure everyone was looked after and happy. He constantly checked up on us and tried to cater for our every request. Great views from the rooms. The landscape is awesome and a good tip is crazy golf a couple of yards from the hotel. There is a spa and facilities including an outdoor jacuzzi which was a favourite for most guests. Overall great experience. I will definitely visit again and I highly recommend this hotel.

Our stay at the hotel was really good from on arrival. The receptionists were friendly and professional. The ambience in the restaurant was good..food took about longer than we had hoped but on arrival it was worth it..really lovely food.
Then we went to the bar and the ambience, food, service and selection of drinks was amazing. Adem and his team were professional and provided great service.
The spa treatment was amazing too! Had a wonderful therapist.
I would recommend this hotel and we will come back again when I Guernsey next.

We booked this hotel for our 40th anniversary , and we were not disappointed.
from the get go the staff are customer focused and courteous to a tee.
the rooms are spacious and well maintained, cleaned everyday. the beds are comfortable the only criticism i have are the pillows are to soft and foameee!!
the food is fantastic never had a bad one and breakfast can be from hot or cold or even from the chefs menu made to order.
the pool, spa, gyms all knockout, and fresh towels given.
If you have a car make sure its a small one as road aren't for the bigger motors, you can get around the coast rd in an hour, but take your time and just turn down a road and see where it takes you.
the town(peter port) is a taxi drive 5mins top for 7-8 GBP. if you decide to park in town there is no cost you just need a parkin dial for the window which can b obtained from the info centre.
Enjoy , its a great place with history .

We had an absolutely lovely break here. The best bit by far were the staff, every single one was attentive, friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them. Particular mention to Sue on reception who remembered our names and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Thank you for making our stay so special.

A happy return to what was our favourite hotel. Our previous stay had a few issues, but this was service at its best. Very friendly and helpful staff, and a comfortable room with a nice view. The food we had was all very good. We look forward to our next visit.

We did 3 nights around the bank holiday here. Staff are lovely, and hotel facilities are good. Excellent extensive breakfast, nice spa/gym, plenty of parking, nice facilities in the room. The decor is maybe a bit dated, but the setting more than makes up for it. It will take about 20 mins to walk into town. Not the most exciting walk, but easily doable, and there is a frequent bus service as well. And you are well positioned to drive anywhere on the island, with a Waitrose across the street as well. The hotel warned us there was a party on the Friday night and let us change rooms to another part of the hotel, but there didnt seem to be any noise travelling across the rooms afterwards. Overall just a very good experience for a short break.

Great setting and facilities a good central location for a visit to all areas of the island. The staff all very professional kind and provide an excellent service. Rooms well appointed comfortable some with stunning views of the hotel grounds.
