On the recommendation of my cousin (who doesn't take any prisoners) we booked at the Fermain Valley with some confidence. And we weren't to be disappointed. From the phone call the day before we set off confirming the collection from the airport details through the friendly welcome from Gavin, the excellent food, great service, superbly sited room with balcony overlooking the bay and sea and friendly and helpful staff. The shuttle bus worked splendidly and the two drivers, Paolo and Ulysses were very accommodating.
We had a slight issue with noise from an extractor fan which ran it seems 24 hours a day/night but that didn't detract from a great stay. The sooner we can return, the better.

Great location for beach but if you needed some help to get up and down to the sea there was a handy transfer service available.

We recently stayed at the Hotel with two friends from Australia; we all loved it. The hotel facilities, location and staff are all excellent. But our very special thanks go to Manager Gavin Lea who went out of his way to make sure our Melbourne friends were made extremely welcome - even to making sure we were comfortable for the Air Show, And that's my tip - the Air Show is fantastic and it's the second THU in SEP - so if you can schedule your visit then do so! Fermain Valley AND the Red Arrows ....... Perfection!

If you want luxury, picturesque setting, and quiet, this is for you. Nothing too much trouble for any staff. From the welcome until leaving, including an anniversary card and rose petals in the bed! Room 12 has the best view down the valley to the sea.

I travel Guernsey every 6 weeks for business purposes and have just started staying at this hotel. This is one of the best hotels by far - superb staff, great accommodation and restaurant facilities, swimming pool and stunning views of the sea. I will use the hotel for personal vacations as well in the New Year. 10 out 10!
The rooms in the main building are the best and there is often nice touches such as fresh fruit, handmade chocolates and a decanter of sherry. 5 star!

Faultless. Great breakfasts and amazingly good steak restaurant on site. Only a couple of minutes walk from a beautiful beach and cliff top walks. Rooms very smart and nice cafe too. Not far from St Peter's Port for shopping and the hotel runs a shuttle. Can't fault the attentive and friendly staff. We will stay there again.

This was the second time my wife and I have stayed in this hotel, the hotel is ideally situated for easy access to St. Peter's port, the rooms are excellent, very clean and warm, restaurant and bars are also very comfortable and warn, great pool.
The staff are really helpful Jeanne on reception couldn't do enough for us and Ulises the porter was the same, just ask and he will take you to St. Peter's port, give him a ring and he will pick you up, he will also pick you up from the airport and take you back all free of charge, we had a meal in the hotels Rock Garden restaurant best steak and sea bass on the island

Stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights on a business trip and everything about this hotel is excellent! The standard of decor and fittings is really impressive, food and service were excellent and the staff made me feel so welcome and went out of their way to be friendly and helpful, I could not fault any part of my stay here and special mention to the young lady on reception who was most helpful with information.

We stayed on a QuidsIn deal that included a meal at the Rock Garden restaurant (reviewed separately, as both establishments deserve recognition).
On arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Jeanne, who showed us to our room.
Jeanne's welcome was undoubtedly the warmest I've ever had at a hotel and really made us feel at ease from our first moments in the hotel.
The room was clean, tidy and the upgrade to the view was worthwhile.
Overall, the room was comfortable and full of complimentary items - it was almost a shame to leave it to go to the restaurant!
Although we didn't explore too much of the grounds (pretty much just the car parks into the hotel and the views from our room) everything was beautifully presented, with stunning views complemented by the immaculate landscaping.
I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone that was visiting the island and we will will definitely be looking to stay again.

Great warm welcome with a tour of facilities. Spotless room with balcony to valley and sea. Well architectured gardens down to Fermain Bay. Spending overnight on special package to include dinner and breakfast. Excellent treat for early Jan. Staff very professional and thoughtful. Cocktails superb. Steaks fantastic. Enjoyed the swim in the pool too. Well done Fermain Valley Hotel, we look forward to returning.
