We had the best time. The hotel is gorgeous, with great garden, and everything is so comfortable. A very lovely stay. The afternoon tea was delicious as were the cocktails. The best part was the staff- they really go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable. Thank you in particular to Komesh and both Patricias in the dining room as well as the fabulous housekeeping staff.
We highly recommend! The only negative for us was the limited hours for kids in the pool, which made it virtually impossible to use. But otherwise a fantastic stay.

Our stay was absolutely fabulous. I can't express enough how fantastic this place is. We've never experienced a hotel that was so impeccably clean, truly spotless. The gentleman responsible for cleaning the rooms was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. I must give a huge shout out to Ben at the bar, who went the extra mile to ensure we were comfortable and enjoying our meals and drinks, which were great. He was genuinely friendly, humorous, and an excellent addition to their team. The room was fantastic, All the staff were wonderful, the spa was incredibly relaxing, making it an overall perfect stay. We will definitely return.

Great jewellers. Visited whilst on holiday. Amazing service, altered a ring size on the same day. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay at the Fermain Valley Hotel which we found clean, quiet, and comfortable.
The location is a 5 minute drive/bus ride/taxi or 30 minute walk from St Peter Port which we found quite advantageous due to the quiet location in the valley overlooking the water. It is a 10 minute walk downhill to a beautiful beach and pleasant cafe.
We found the breakfast quite nice with a wide range of menu options. One night we had a fantastic meal at the Rock Garden Restaurant on the premises.
What made Fermain Valley especially pleasant was the friendly, professional staff from the front desk to housekeeping to the restaurant. I special compliment to Sarah who always greeted us by name with a kind "good morning" at every breakfast.

*Baan Thai, Mill Street, St Peter Port*

Tucked away on Mill Street in the heart of St Peter Port, Baan Thai is a little gem. It’s not a big place — just about half a dozen tables — so it feels cozy and intimate from the moment you walk in. What it lacks in size it more than makes up for with big flavours and seriously tasty meals.

I’d advise booking your table in advance though. It fills up quickly, and you can see why.

The menu has plenty to choose from. Fancy something with a kick? There are plenty of spicy options. Prefer it milder? No problem at all — there’s lots that isn’t so spicy too, and every dish is packed with authentic Thai taste.

The staff were amazing. Nothing was any trouble for them. They were welcoming, attentive, and really knew the menu. The service was spot on all evening, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The whole restaurant was spotless.

The food was delicious, fresh, and full of flavour. Portions were generous and beautifully presented.

For a small spot with such heart, Baan Thai delivers a big experience. Well worth a visit. I’ll definitely be back.

What an amazing hotel. We had a Seaview King room with a balcony. Only one tiny niggle was the flat roof that took up half of the view but the size of the room compensated for that.
The staff are fully focused on customer service and cannot be faulted. A very special mention for Jeffrey in the crown club bar. He made out stay ! And we had the pleasure of meeting his family. He really does give 5 star service. Also a mention for the staff that man the pool area. Once by the pool you do not have to move an inch as everything is bought to you including complimentary drinks, ice cream and fresh fruit.
The food in the dinning room was as expected but I would avoid the lamb rump as I found it very tough and full of gristle.
That said they where very sorry and did not charge.
Roberto was very welcoming and made us feel at home straight away.
Overall it was nice to go somewhere where customers are treated with good old fashioned service that is so lacking these days.

Whilst visiting Guernsey, the nose pad of my glasses broke. Websters not only replaced the one broken but both without charge. Their customers service, politeness and willingness to support a visitor to the island is hugely impressive and I would thoroughly recommend them. Thank you again for your help….

First time visit to Guernsey and we stayed at the OGH to celebrate my 60th birthday ( hubby was also 60 but at the beginning of June ) We stayed for 10 nights. we were welcomed with a glass of bubbles and shown around the hotel after booking in, our cases were sent up to our room ready for when we went up, the air con was lovely as very hot when we got there.
The staff were all very helpful and a big shout out to “T” and Pamela, also thank you to the chef as Pamela asked him to speak to us about getting some spider crab, edible crab and whole fish as not on the menu which he did and it was lovely ( hopefully I can send some pics ).
My birthday breakfast was brilliant, bunch of flowers on the table, some Buck’s Fizz and a bottle of champagne ( flowers ordered by hubby )
And lots of birthday wishes from all the staff.
The food was excellent in the hotel and lots of tables in the gardens to sit in the shade or the sun with a cold glass of wine or a cocktail.
Thank you Sianna for keeping us fed and watered while we lazed by the pool and made sure everyone had enough towels, also a cold glass of wine by the pool is a must.
