We had vouchers from our hotel the Cobo Bay Hotel to use at option of 3 restaurant we picked the doghouse as we passed it a couple of time and food had good reviews.
Very pleasant helpful staff good service food arrived quickly and the Steak was amazing so tender and tasty Monday to Thursday is Steak night 2 for £25 highly recommend

I have been here a few times for food in the day and a few beers in the early evening and have always found the staff and regulars to be pretty friendly.
The food is your standard pub grub but done with care, beer is good with a nice selection and they have live music most weekends, id happily go back and most likely will.

The Doghouse was just up the road from our hotel so we arranged to meet a friend there for a drink. Modern feel to the interior large bar area with a standard selection of beer and wine. We visited on a Sunday evening so it was quiet, decent enough bar would try it again if I revisit Guernsey and would like to try the food menu.

What started as first impressions as Sports Bar where we could get simple bar food turned into a great meal. Cooked to order and chef substituted rice for veg as I’m on a Keto diet. Excellent choice of veg to add to the belly pork. My parters compliments the most delicious burger & chips!

We tried this bar/restaurant upon the recommendation of our parents who had been here earlier in the week. The beef wellington was really superb and portions were a good size. Staff were also very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

We were staying the local hotel, so popped in one night to sample the food, the pub is quite lively and basic, the staff friendly and the food good. Priced accordingly I would recommend, but this isn't fine dining, just pub grub.

We called in on the way back to our hotel for a drink but were not impressed with the place it was more like sportsbar for men to pop in watch football and a pint. Never saw a lot of people in having meals last time we walked past at 8pm.. Bit of a shame really as it was handy only 10 minutes walk. Feel as though it was boil in bag food not home cooked and fresh. Disappointing.

Stopped here as part of a golfing club weekend out. Great little 9 hole course. More of a pitch and putt but great fun and quite challenging. Had a big Sunday lunch spread laid on for us and all the boys.
Was feeling a little fragile as the night before was a little heavy. This meal was just the ticket, really tasty and plenty of it. Really top notch. A great hotel and breakfast was also included. Will certainly recommend it to not only my golf buddies but friends and family too. Great weekend.

A bit of a blast from the past. Let’s say the clientele is of the “ older generation “. Rooms clean and functional but dated with no air con etc. The restaurant for breakfast is good with pleasant table service for tea coffee and toast. A great gym , spa and pool downstairs which really makes the difference. Overall I’d stay again
