Although we don't generally frequent pubs, we frequent Dog House as it is near our home. It's very big, so getting a table (inside or outside) is always easy. The food is always good for the price, including a few specialties that go beyond standard pub fare. There is almost always live music on Friday and Saturday night (either a Guernsey band or a UK cover band). They have multiple screens showing a lot of soccer and rugby. You can't ask for much more from a local pub than that.

Loved our break away in this lovely hotel. Everything was perfect and I would go back there in a heart beat. The room service was fantastic, they even turned down the bed, which is not common any more. The food was fabulous and we made use of the great pool and spa facilities.

A fabulous weekend!
Springtime weather in February and the Grand Resort of St Pierre Park Hotel, Guernsey makes an unforgettable break.
All facilities of the resort were available and excellent, even the outdoor hot tub!
Staff were most helpful and refreshingly responsive, nothing was too much trouble.
Our room was Grand and tastefully decorated with seating outside on our personal patio, espresso coffee machine was an unexpected surprise!
Breakfast was a sumptuous affair hot buffet and extras such as kippers, and cold cuts available on order.
Definitely due a repeat visit.

Went here a few years ago and was very disappointed with the service and had not been back until now. Had an overnight stay with a meal in the Pavilion Restaurant and was delighted with it. From the moment we arrived and were greeted at reception the staff were wonderful and friendly. The meal in the restaurant was amazing with a great choice of fantastic and wonderfully tasting food. Glad we tried it here again. The hotel has gone through a transformation and is now a great place to stay. Thank you for making our visit so enjoyable. We will be back.

This was a return visit to guernsey and St pierre park for me.The staff are welcoming and friendly, the rooms are clean and the food is delicious. The indoor pool and outdoor hot tub are a must. There is also a gym.
It was the first time to Guernsey for my friend but thankfully she loved every minute! The hotel is on a bus route with buses every 10 minutes Waitrose is just across the road for any little extras.Ideal!

I visited the St Pierre Hotel for business and little touches let down this 5 star hotel.

The terrace room, a good place for meeting people, was unmanned at 8.30am. Nobody to assist any guests or visitors. A big lounge unmanned!

My reserved table had been wiped with a dirty cloth leaving wipe marks on the table. Highly viable.

The toilets were clean but the towel peddle bin did not work which made a mockery of washing your hands as you had to lift the lid manually. How many germs?

The middle toilet cubicle had the jacket hook removed. Should you put your jacket on the floor? The expression " Couldnt swing a cat in" applied to the size of the cubicle.

The final insult in the "Terrace " meeting area was two glasses but no water on the pre booked table. I asked the receptionist but was greeted with " I'm on my own." Not her fault but 30 minutes later no water! Surely someone could have attended to that?

Now 50 minutes and no water or staff presence. Every felt alone and un cared for?

More attention to detail required.

Stayed for 4 nights on a short break to the island. First impressions were good, a large premises in its own grounds with ample parking. Check-in staff helpful, we had a junior suite which was large, clean with a lovely king size bed. Each suite opens onto a semi-private roof balcony with a hot tub and patio furniture, we utilised the hot tub, very good.

We used the lounge bar a few times and the young man looking after the bar was a credit to the hotel. Breakfast is self service buffet or you can order from a menu, the buffet breakfast was OK but you will experience a delay if ordering from the menu especially at peak times. We didn’t take any other meals in the hotel so can’t comment on the restaurant.

We did try to book a spa treatment but couldn’t get a slot as it seems very popular.

If we visit the island again I would stay at this hotel again.
