Enjoyable stay at the hotel. Will pad this out a bit in a week when I've had time to reflect a bit more.

Large, slightly dated hotel. Nice grounds with pond. Buffet breakfast had a broad range, quality OK, fresh cooked omelet good. Didn't use the gym or spa but they looked very nice.

A great hotel. Staff are very friendly. I stayed in the Jersey Suite and although a little dated it was very comfortable and welcoming.
The spa is excellent.

Stayed for 3 nights, Swimming pool and Spa facilities excellent, my wife and I used the facilities every day and both had a treatment on the last day. Spa staff knowledgeable and friendly.
Had breakfast every day in the Victor Hugo restaurant a good selection of hot and cold buffet plus fresh cooked kippers, boiled eggs and soldiers, eggs Benedict etc if required waiting staff smiley and efficient.
The bar is well stocked and has a reasonable snack menu,£13.50 for a craft gin and tonic was a bit steep though! A very nice view of the the Lake and grounds is to be had from the bar.
We ate dinner in the Pavilion Restaurant, the food was excellent and fairly priced and the service was friendly and efficient as well.
The bed was extremely comfortable, the en-suite facilities acceptable and it was nice to have a pod coffee machine in our room.
Check in and out experience good.
Overall a very good stay, although in my opinion the bedrooms and some of the public areas are due a refurbishment.
