I was introduced to Marcel at Firstcall last year through a friend as I was thinking, but also unsure about leaving my current employment which I had been at for many years. Instead of being 'pushy' as some recruitment agencies can come across as, he asked why I was unhappy with in my current job and took the time to understand what I wanted to achieve. Marcel listened and we kept in contact for many months and waited until I was ready to make the big step. Because he knew exactly what my skills were and what I was looking for to progress in my career path, he set up interviews perfectly suited to me (and during lockdown). I was also given advice before the interviews and was updated regularly with feedback.
Unfortunately my first job did not work out. I contacted Marcel again and he prioritised me to find me something quickly and since he already knew my skills and what I wanted, he set up again many interviews/opportunities suited to me. Within a week I was offered a new job with excellent careers prospects. I am so happy and grateful for Firstcall for all their help and have already recommended to them to my friends who are in a similar situation as I was.
Thank you, Marcel and team!

Stayed 2 nights in a double comfort room, very comfortable with all amenities and a great bed. About 30 mins walk into the town centre. Parking on site. Nice public areas and a very good breakfast. Didn't use the spa or pool due to insufficient time but otherwise very much enjoyed our stay here. Also Guernsey is currently Covid safe so if you've had your vaccs, there are no facemasks, social distancing etc (still lots of sanitiser around though) so it felt completely NORMAL!! Would recommend this hotel.

Stayed in the Sark suite. In the Hot Tub under the stars was an obvious highlight. The room service menu was a tad disappointing selection wise. The bed is 2 singles zipped together & a little bit hard. Health Suite excellent

Stayed 7 nights in July as a substitute holiday for France. Because itbis a small island picked hotel with pool and gym in case of rainy days and indeed the 25M pool is perfect and the gym is well appointed and attracts local members and the hot tub and dry and steam sauna perfect. Probably the gym could put a bit more variety and add a bars class not necessarily Les Mills and also pilates in place of some yoga.

The stqff were very attentive and uniformed. Think a marriot in terms of breakfast and style.

All the rooms are the same size except balcony ...so if you are 2 persons go for a ground or first floor as the second floor balconies only seat one. The room cleaning service was noteworthy. Our cleaner also tidied as we are messy and appreciated.

The rooms decor is not glamorous and i think the hotel will need to spruce up the decor over time as well as mattress and furnishings to keep its well deserved reputation.

Will definitely stay again. If you're in Gurnesey think weather as if locked down with rain you can fall back on decent facilities here .

Fantastic old world charm with great service from start to finish.
Friendly staff made sure we had a thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable stay.
Bit of a climb up the hill to the hotel from the harbour but worth it for the views and location!

Fantastic staff, definitely five-star
Hotel position really good too
Food and drink very good, and value for money too
The hotel's environment is lovely, but in need of a little investment in parts
The lounges and brasserie are very comfortable
Parking is a little precarious!. Best left to valet parking. That service is good too!
Overall, a fabulous island, and a hotel which does credit to it

Chose to stay here while setting up an interview with then-resident, the late Oliver Reed, and I was pleasantly surprised at what a terrific place it was. I was the only American guest (the idea of a Californian travelling all that way seemed to amuse them), and I just had a marvellous time. They also have fantastic Christmas packages that only the Brits can handle with aplomb. The grounds are nice, the service is great, the employees just loved to be there....very impressed. My favorite spot in Guernsey and I've been in a few.

I recently stayed at the St Pierre Park Hotel and loved every minute of it. The view of the grounds from our hotel bedroom and from the dining room was fabulous and the breakfasts set us up for the rest of the day.

Our only criticism was when we arrived at about 9pm we decided to try the barbecue dinner. Unfortunately there was not much choice left and although the Chef did barbecue some fresh meat for us after our choice turned out to be cold, it took so long it took the shine off our first night. However, from then onwards everything was fantastic. The staff were helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Guernsey is a beautiful island - I would recommend a visit to anyone.

Having booked this hotel, I then read the two previous reviews and was worried that I had made the wrong choice. However, the hotel was all that we expected it to be. The hotel was spotless, and the rooms above average size. The breakfast buffet was very good with above average choice, and the restaurants were excellent, particularly the Victor Hugo Restaurant (one of the best meals I have ever had). The grounds and sports facilities were also first class, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.
