I recognised the benefits of putting my beauty salon on The Best of Guernsey and I regularly get new clients from them. I found they help promote my business through their social media marketing (Facebook / Twitter) and they also send out newsletters with special offers to all their members so it gets my business word out to a wider market. They also printed for me wonderful recommendation cards with my business logo on, which is great.
