I decided that it was time for a new adventure within the financial industry. After talking to a friend he recommended Firstcall and also Chris Holt as a recruiter. I can honestly say that what you say matters to Chris and that he had my best interest in mind when looking for new opportunities. Nothing was too much of a bother for him, and he always made time, accommodating meetings for when it best suited me. He is very professional yet approachable, honest and helpful, and the most important thing I found was that he involves you in the process by talking to you every step of the way. I would definitely recommend the company as 5/5 stars, and Chris Holt to anyone that’s thinking of wanting a new career.

I contacted Jack a few months ago, as I was looking for a new role. After my initial consultation, Jack contacted me with a role, suitable to my skill set and he managed to secure an interview for me, again, he offered his guidance throughout this process. Thank you to Chris at FirstCall for making my job hunting experience as easy as it could be. I had been with my employer for 12 years since I left school so found the prospect of looking elsewhere very daunting, however Chris put me at ease straight away during our initial meeting. From then he was always keeping me informed, proactive and I always felt like he had my best interests in mind when discussing opportunities that became available. He supported me with tailoring my CV for the roles that became available, interview practice and after I was offered the role he continued to touch base with me on a regular basis and supported me whenever needed. Very impressed with R1 construction who built our extension. We received 3 quotes and R1 was the most competitive. Craig made the whole process very easy -with his itemised quote we were able to keep track of the work as it was completed and pay for it in intervals in line with the quote. He kept in contact throughout and visited the site every few days. His team completed the work to a very high standard and they were nice guys too - we decided to stay living at home whilst the works were carried out and they were very thoughtful and worked around us in a way that made life as easy as possible. They were also great at offering suggestions throughout. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of having building works done.
