Having recently spent 8 days at the Fermain Valley Hotel I have to say that the welcome we received from all the staff was excellent. Our room and the view we had over Fermain Bay was lovely. The food was also good and we would hope to return next time we visit Guernsey

Spent an amazing 3 nights at this hotel with my partner. We were met at the airport and taken to the hotel in the courtesy bus. My partner has a mobility scooter and this was no problem. From the moment we arrived at the hotel we were made so welcome. Such friendly staff who go overboard to help you. The view from our room was just lovely with a small balcony to sit out and admire the sea view.
The room had complimentary sherry which was a super touch. It was lovely to have bath robes and slippers provided. Fantastic wardrobes!
The food in both restaurants was incredible. My partner said it was the best steak he had ever eaten! Again the staff were so attentive.
The hotel has wonderful outside space with comfortable sofas and chairs and even a delightful cinema which we had all to ourselves.
This has to be the most friendliest hotel we have stayed in and couldn't fault it. Can't wait to return.

Another stay, this time just for one night. If anything, this was an even more pleasurable experience than previous visits - which I would have thought was impossible! All my preferences were remembered from previous stays. I had a really comfortable night in a Gold room on the front of the hotel. A lovely bathroom, with a superb walk-in shower made things absolutely perfect. I enjoyed a glass of (complimentary) sherry in the room, as usual. Housekeeping remains impeccable. Viera was once again a real star. This does not take anything away from Dan, or any of their colleagues. The English breakfast in the morning was lovely - probably the finest bacon and sausages I have ever had, and superb scrambled eggs. The "Tennerfest" dinner menu was lovely, and very reasonable. I had recommended the hotel to some new found friends, and they, too, much enjoyed their stay. A separate review may be posted by them. Once again, the courtesy car service was invaluable. As usual, I was really sorry to leave! I am returning for another overnight stay in six weeks, and I shall keep returning. This is one of my two favourite hotels of all time. My heartfelt thanks to the whole team.

Had a lovely time staying here over Halloween weekend and could not find fault with anything. We were met on Friday by a very helping guy at the front desk (did not get his name annoyingly) who showed us round and then took us to our room. The room was spacious and spotless and the free decanter of sherry was a lovely touch. All toiletries were provided and the terrace was a lovely addition with views of the valley down to the sea. Would recommend breakfast in your room - we ate ours on the terrace it was so warm!

All the hotel was very clean the surrounding gardens were well laid out, parking area plenty of room, excellent staff, nothing was too much trouble, provided transport to the time requested there and back to St Peters Port,

This hotel is lovely. The grounds are really well maintained, staff very attentive, breakfast was delicious and location was great - very close to a beach and walks. The free transfer service was fantastic too - a real bonus! They even have a cinema, which I can imagine would be fun for a cold winter's evening. Nice turndown service, and even a complimentary carafe of sherry in room.
The only negative was that my room, which was the cheapest one available by my own admission, was away from the main hotel block (2 minute walk), was quite small and overlooked the car park. A larger room with a half decent view would have got this hotel 5*.
If you can afford one of the better rooms - take it! I'd certainly come back here with my wife and stay in one of those.

Lovely room, lovely view, lovely staff!!
Our room was immaculate and beautifully presented, and the food (the Rock Garden for dinner and Ocean for breakfast) was fantastic.
I wouldn't hesitate to come back and hopefully will do very soon!

We stay here only for one night, but hotel, service and restaurant is amazing. Rooms are nice , comfortable and with lovely view . Highly recommend to everyone who looking nice place for romantic weekend.

Superb service including their driver picking me up by car for free after finishing a costal walk and taking me to the airport. Great views from my room which was very comfortable and I enjoyed having a real key for once and windows that opened so the room wasn't too hot at night. The pool, sauna, very cosy lounge and tea room were great too and the food was excellent. I can't wait to go back.

We last stayed here 5 years ago and remember it as good then. It seems even better now. Friendly check in with Gavin, comfortable clean gold room with an excellent view down the valley to the sea, to the lovely food in the Ocean restaurant and the friendly staff throughout. All in all a very good stay and I think we will not wait another 5 years before we return!
