The best dentist experience I have ever had in my life with Dr Hagen Voehrs from Guernsey Smile Center.
I feared that I had a hole in one tooth because of a stinging tooth nerve pain so I arranged an appointment.
Dr. Voehrs has been recommended to me recently and now I know why.
Not only did he examine all teeth in an extremely precise, holistic but also very careful way, an x-ray record was done, he explained every step as well as the x-ray results in detail and in words I as a layperson could easily follow, let me watch the process in a handmirror, but he also examined the jaw to exclude all possible causes for the tooth pain, explained further possible causes and recommendations to me. Very very service-oriented and completely outstanding compared to my experiences and the ones of friends and family in Austria. Above that all, for this excellent service, it'a a really remarkable attractive price performance ratio.
The chance is high that you won't fear the dentist any more when you get to know Dr. Voehrs.

We attended the cocktail-making class at (I believe in George's bar) for a birthday celebration, and it was a fantastic experience! Shaminee, our instructor, was absolutely superb. She not only taught us how to make delicious cocktails but also made the entire experience incredibly enjoyable and fun. Her knowledge and enthusiasm truly made the class special. The cocktails were also absolutely delicious! We tried to replicate Shaminee's cocktail making but she's in a class of her own. We were also served snacks for the class which were also stunning! The salmon and the crab were so fresh and tasty!
Shaminee is a real asset to the hotel, providing excellent customer service and personalising the experience for each of us. The hotel itself is beautiful, and although we didn't stay overnight, the ambiance and the exceptional service from the staff made a strong impression. I would love to return and stay in the future based on what I saw.
Highly recommended for anyone looking to have a great time while learning something new!

Nous venons de rentrer de nos vacances d'une semaine dans ce bel hôtel. Avec un charme un peu désuet mais très luxueux, nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Leur plus grand atout au OGH est l'ensemble de l'équipe, que se soit en salle, au service, à la réception ou à l'étage, tous sont incroyablement gentil, souriant et serviable. Ils aiment leurs métiers et cela se sent, c'est tellement agréable 😁. Grâce à eux nous nous sommes senti comme chez nous 🥰, MERCI A TOUS. Beautiful hotel, staff couldn't be more helpful nothing was too much trouble for them, great location beautiful grounds, rooms always spotless. We've been to a few hotels on the island but this is by far the best and our favourite.

We have stayed a number of times now, and we are never disappointed.
All the staff are absolutely wonderful and do a fantastic job.
The rooms are lovely and comfortable.

The hotel is fine but is located some distance from St. Peter Port. We had their best suite and this came with its own garden and jacuzzi. What wasn't made clear was the lack of privacy as both were overlooked from above. The service from staff was generally good, but the hotel is large and mostly empty even during the summer months and so can feel a little impersonal. My wife and I prefer the Old Government Hotel and I would rate that as the best hotel in the Channel Islands.
