What's happening in and around Fleet this weekend 6th – 8th November 2015

Just as we're getting over all the fun of Halloween we now stumble onto the next fun date in the calendar, Fireworks night! This weekend will have you oooo’ing and ahhhhh’ing till Monday morning...

Thursday 5th November

The Barley Mow have their Fireworks Display starting at 5.30pm with a BBQ. The bonfire will be lit at 6pm with fireworks at 7. Mulled wine and spiced cider too!

 Friday 6th November

  • Come and visit Hartley Wintney’s weekly country market, with fresh preserves and homemade items using the freshest ingredients. The Market is run as a Cooperative Society selling home grown, home cooked and hand crafted goods by a team of certified producers living within a 20 mile radius of Hartley Wintney. 
  • Hatch Warren community centre will be holding their fireworks tonight,  gates open at 5pm display starts at 7.30pm, funfair and refreshments.

 Saturday 7th November

  • Fleet Market is on every Saturday morning where you can buy fruit and veg, bread, meat, fish, plants, household goods, flowers and much more. Every Saturday morning. Gurkha Square car park.
  • Farnham Maltings will be holding their monthly market from 9.30am with over 200 stalls there will be plenty to browse.
  • Fleet’s annual firework fiesta takes place on Saturday night at Calthorpe Park, if you were unable to get your tickets in advance, you can still purchase them at the gate.  £6 Adult £3 Child, gates open at 5pm displays starts at 6.30pm.  There will be food and refreshments too.
  • The Farnham Round Table will be hosting their Fireworks and Torch lit procession, starting at Farnham central car park leading to Farnham Park, leaving the car park at 6.15 led by a Scottish pipe band, and arriving at the park for 7pm, bonfire will be lit at 7.15 with the display at 7.45pm, tickets available on the night

 Sunday 8th  November

Aldershot Car Boot from 9am to 93pm £3 entry or 20p after 10am.

Fleet's Remembrance Day Service will take place in Gurkha Square with a 2 minute silence at 11am. There will be a parade from Church Road car park to The Harlington starting at 3.20pm. Refreshments will then be served in The Harlington.

And if you're planning your own Fireworks party don't forget to Buy Local and Support loca independent business Tackle Up Fleet - they are open until 6pm on 5th November, 7pm on Friday 7th and 6pm on Saturday 7th.

  • Friday 13th November is the next HYPE, don’t forget to grab your tickets.
  • Fleet Christmas Festival is on Wednesday 25 November starting at 2pm and finishing at 8pm.
  • Tickets are on sale for Fleet Panto which is Aladdin this year, this event is held at The Harlington.
