The Go! Club is an activity club for children and young people with mild to moderate special needs and their mission is to create great opportunities for young people to improve their life chances with a view to increasing confidence, wellbeing, education and independence.

The Go! Club runs fortnightly on Saturday afternoons at the Hart Leisure Centre from 2.30pm - 4.30pm and they play various sporting games, theatre games and art and craft activities. The club relies on volunteers to help run the games and activities and are looking for more volunteers. As well as an afternoon of fun activities for the children, the GO! club also provides parents with a short break, knowing their children are with trained and friendly staff and volunteers.

If you're aged 16 or over, a good team player, patient and willing to spend time with young people with a mild to moderate support needs the GO! Club needs your help. You will need to undergo a DBS check and you will have lots of support including safeguarding and disability awareness training.

If you are interested in this opportunity please contact Sue Vincent at the Hart Volunteer Centre on 01252 627070 or by email at sue@hartvolaction.org.uk.
