For Small Business Saturday, Hart Distrci Council are providing FREE parking in council owned car parks and parking is also FREE in the Hart Centre.
In the Hart Centre there will be a fantastic festive family fun day, with Santa’s Grotto, face painting, Spot the Rudolph town trail, children’s craft activities and free parking throughout the town from 10am-4pm.
For one day only, Father Christmas has specially chosen to fly into Fleet to visit his magical grotto, complete with enchanted singing elves! The venue in Hart Shopping Centre will be magically transformed overnight by the elves and will open between 10am-1pm and 1.45-4pm.
You can also pick up a free Spot the Rudolph trail from the Centre, explore the town and then enter a prize draw, which Santa will draw at the end of the day. Lots of the town’s shops are also organising free mince pies, activities and treats for their customers. For example
In the Hart Centre local events company Fuse Projest has organised a fun day where children can pop along from 10am - 4pm to the free Christmas crafts table and help a cheeky elf to create a huge Christmas banner and a professional festive face painter will be on hand. There’s also a chance to pop a letter to Father Christmas in the magical North Pole Post Box and see the elves hard at work in the grotto.
Families can meet the merry cast of Fleet’s pantomime ‘Aladdin’, who will be visiting the Centre from 1-1.45pm.
