Every year The Halifax looks at a number of factors to determine the best place to live in the UK.

Yet again in 2015 the district of Hart in Hampshire has been named the best place to live in the UK for the 5th year in a row.

When considering where are the best places to live the following factors were considered: health and life expectancy, personal wellbeing, crime rates and weather.

Fleet is the major town in the district of Hart where residents have an average salary of £865 and 84.5% are employed. Over 97% people say they are in good health and life expectancy is high too.

This may be partly to do with the layout of Fleet which means that it is possibel to walk into the town from most places relatively easily, we have lovely open spaces such as Fleet Pond and the Basingstoke canal and have the great sporting events every year including the Fleet half marathon in March the 10k and 5k runs in October and the 2010 cycle ride in September.
