Fleet Fashion Show tkaes place on Tuesday 13 October at The Harlongton and is the highlight of Paint Fleet Pink Week, Frimley Park Hospital’s fundraising campaign for a new breast cancer unit.
The evening will be hosted by Sonali Shah, TV presenter currently presenting the National Lottery Live, Escape to the Country and Radio 4's Today programme, as well as being an ambassador for the Prince’s Trust.
Fleet Fashion Show 2015 is an exclusive event showcasing the very best of the season’s collections and trends from select independent local businesses. The runway show features handpicked clothing from local designer retailers Experience, 217 Menswear, Tilly Mint Weddings and the national award winning Beverley Edmondson Millinery, together with hair styling from Fleet’s KJM Salons.
The show is being organised by Emma Molyneux of Experience, Fleet and Jenny Atherton of Fuse Projects.
“Following last year’s fashion show success, which raised over £3000 for Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice, we are delighted to be working with Sonali, to raise vital funds for Frimley Park Hospital during Paint Fleet Pink Week. Last year’s event was a sell-out success and we know that this year will be even bigger and better, with lots of surprises planned” said Emma Molyneux, “During the show there will be a fantastic raffle and stands selling gorgeous fashion and beauty gifts - a great chance to get inspired, shop for Christmas and contribute to this fantastic charity.”
Jenny Atherton from Fuse Projects said “Coordinating Fleet Fashion Show is a great way to raise awareness of the exceptional local independent retail offer and support this important fundraising campaign. Town centres up and down the country have seen benefits from organising events such as this which raise the profile of a town and attract new visitors.”
