Fleet Carnival another amazing success

Fleet Carnival took place on the weekend of 1-3 July with thousands of people coming to the town to enjoy a weekend of activity.

The procession took place on the afternoon of Saturday 2 July with an amazing turnout of local schools, community groups and businesses who embraced the theme of Rio with their colourful displays as they paraded through the town.

The procession also included the Carnival Prince and Princess who attend local schools and were chosen earlier in the year at the Disco.

Entertainment in Calthorpe Park including live music, fun fair, Bingo Night.

There was also a Classic Car Show, Dog Show and the Makers' market on Sunday 3 July.

Retailers also took part in the Window Competition, again to the theme of Rio with colourful displays brightening up Fleet Road and drawing lots of attention from visitors. The competition was won by Captured Moment with Experience and Dancety runners up.
