The street homeless are the ghosts of our streets, largely overlooked and shunned by society, living on the margins without even the basics that we take for granted every day. Behind a simple green door in Station Road lies The Vine Centre. Which motivated by a profound desire to ease poverty and improve quality of life delivers more than 20 frontline services which address both the practical, physical and emotional needs of our clients.

Already this year  we have built new links to the community, with our collecting tins going into local shops, schools and churches offering support. Local businesses have offered their time and services such as catering and IT. We are looking to build lasting relationships with businesses who would like to support us. This could be in many ways such as holding a sponsored event, collecting food items that we constantly need, offering services to help deliver our journey programme to clients and many other ways. Our media coverage is going to be increased with regular articles about our work and partners. Later in the year we aim to hold a week of fundraising events aimed to put homelessness firmly in the public eye.
