Cinderella comes to town

I was lucky enough to meet the stars of this year's pantomime recently, and what a talented group of fun people they are.

But this is no amateur panto production - this is a truly professional cast with numerous West End, TV and radio appearances. And with Cinderella being such a well known story we're in for a really magical pantomime in Fleet this Christmas.

Chris Johnson who plays Buttons will be known to many children and parents in Fleet for his regular CBBC afternoon appearances with Hacker T Dog.

Nadiam Naaman, star of many West End musicals including The Phantom of the Opera and the Sound of Music is Prince Charming. He will be joined by Siobhan Diffin as Cinderella.

Not that you can miss them but you'll need to look out for the ugly sisters, Lucretia and Excretia. Joel, who plays Excretia is an accomplished Shakespearian actor as well as a comedy improvisation performer and Anthony has many stage credits to his name, including Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. These 2 are sure to delight audiences of all ages.

And of course Fleet's pantomime wouldn't be the same without a fairy godmother played by Amanda Goldthorpe-Hall who wowed audiences last year as Fairy Bowbells. Also making a welcome return is Victoria Quincey who played Alice last year. As well as playing Dandini this year Victoria will also be the shows choreographer.

And, as always, the professional cast will be supported by 3 teams of youngsters from schools in and around Fleet.

Anyone who went to the pantomime last year will know how professional the production was and how the Harlington was transformed into a theatre - this year the production crew are going even further and turning the main hall into a 300 seater theatre with every seat having a great view of the stage as well as wheelchair seating.

So what are you waiting for? Book your tickets now to guarantee your seat. There are also special school performances and discounts for groups of 10 or more.
