Created by Rushmoor Borough Council and sponsored by The Wellington shopping centre, the 2014 Aldershot Calendar celebrates the best of Aldershot.

The photos were selected from the best of the entries received in a public competition held at the end of last year. More than 90 photos were entered and the 12 winning shots included Municipal Gardens in the snow, the Royal Garrison Church of All Saints in autumn and a family of ducks at Manor Park pond.

Carla Dale, town centre and cultural officer at Rushmoor Borough Council, said: “Thank you to everyone who supported the 2014 Aldershot Calendar - The Wellington centre for their sponsorship, to everyone who submitted an entry into the competition and to those who bought a copy. Each year we are very proud of the money we raise from the sale of the calendar for local charities. The quality of the photos entered was incredible and we can’t wait for this year’s competition. Anybody wishing to enter the competition should remember to take photos of the town throughout the changing seasons. Entries for the 2015 calendar will open later in the year.”

The Frimley Park Hospital Charity helps to ensure that patient visits to the hospital are as effective as possible by providing specialist equipment and services. More information about the charity can be found at www.fphcharity.org.
