Here are some ideas but for a full list of activities in the half term check out our Events section.

In and around Fleet

  • Frogmore Leisure Centre has a full programme of half term activities
  • Hart Leisure centre will have a holiday pool timetable with other activities to be announced soon.
  • At Fleet Library you can borrow games and DVD as well as books.
  • The Harlington has a drop in Disco Skate session on Wednesday 17th February from 2pm.
Eating out
  • The Barley Mow is situated near the Basingstoke Canal - perfect for a walk if the weather is good. Dogs are welcome in the bar area too.
  • El Castello in Fleet have a children's menu which is great value - and if you get there early you can get one of the popular window tables.

Getting out and about

  • Fleet Pond Nature Reserve has parking nearby and is a pleasant walk around the edge of the pond.
  • And of course Fleet has a number of parks and play areas - ideal for burning off energy if it's dry.
  • If  you're travelling by train with children you might want to invest in a Family & Friends railcard for 1/3 off adult fairs and 60% off children's fairs. These cards can also be purchased with Clubcard points.
    • From Fleet station you can catch a train to London, Portsmouth or Poole. Some interesting places to stop on the way
    • For a short trip travel south to Winchfield, Hook or Basingstoke or north to Fanrborough or Woking.
    • Just before Woking is Brookwood station which is beside Brookwood Cemetry, the largest in Europe including several military cemeteries, the Brookwood memorial and 14 Grade II listed monuments
