Jazz At The Ivy Room was launched back in November 2016 in the Ivy Room of what was then Farnham Conservative Club (now The Ivy Lane Club). Ten years on and we are celebrating this milestone with a spectacular three-piano extravaganza featuring Dave “Mr Stride” Browning, Sandra Lambert and Jonathan Vinten and joined by our superb rhythm section of Paul Morgan and Jeff Lardner.
Three pianists, three distinctive styles from boogie-woogie, stride, swing and be-bop to blues, Latin rhythms and contemporary jazz. The evening's finale will be all three pianists playing together for some piano madness!
Meet the pianists:-
Dave Browning - unique Dixieland and Harlem stride and boogie-woogie style pianist with his own band called The Jazz Cats.
Jonathan Vinten - pianist and accompanist for legendary British jazz and blues singer George Melly (and John Chilton's Feetwarmers) for over 10 years.
Sandra Lambert - whose playing focuses on a melodic, relaxed and be-bop swing feel. She was musical director to Helen Shapiro for 7 years and has played for The Royal Family and The Prime Minister!

Doors open at 7 pm with live music running from approximately 7.45 pm – 10 pm (with a 30 minute interval).
Tables & Seating All reservations/bookings are guaranteed a seat. Seating will be in a cabaret-style format with tables or in rows on busier evenings. Group bookings of 6 or more will be seated together wherever possible.
