Janine is known for her distinctive work in leather and vitreous enamel. Working across wall pieces, objects and jewellery, she combines traditional enamelling techniques with a precise, contemporary approach. Her practice focuses on line, pattern and structure, moving between references to landscape, plant forms and simple architectural motifs. Over more than two decades, she has developed a body of work that is controlled, tactile and immediately recognisable.
This exhibition brings together a focused selection of small works, where scale allows for a sharper attention to detail and surface. Enamel panels, sculptural objects and wearable pieces reveal a careful balance between material, colour and form. The presentation offers both accessible works and more developed pieces, giving a clear view of a consistent and well-established practice.
