Farnham's Pat Frampton knows that massage is now one of the most widely practised complementary therapies and should be thought of as a way of life rather than a luxury.
Massage is increasingly used alongside orthodox medicine for treating a range of ailments, many of which are attributed to stress and tension.
The benefits vary from person to person, but it is known that:
â Massage reduces stress levels
â Massage relieves Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI)
â Massage eliminates toxins
â Massage helps breakdown stubborn fats
â Massage relieves anxiety and tension
â Massage combats irritability
â Massage promotes better sleeping
â Massage stimulates circulation, boosts the immune system
â Massage relaxes tense and tight muscles
â Massage improves skin condition
â Massage improves digestion
â Massage revitalises - makes you feel good
Deep tissue and Swedish body massage: particularly helpful in removing toxins built up in muscles after exercise and for toning the body.
Stressbuster: Pat's "signature" massage, combining Deep Tissue, Swedish and Reflexology styles of massage into a personalised treatment to combat "overwork" or "jetlag".
Lava Shell Massage: Naturally self warming smooth Tiger Clam Shells are expertly guided over the body with varying pressures, techniques and precision to reach the deepest aches and pains, alleviating stress and tension. Hydrating oils are used to moisturise the skin as the warming energy of the shells helps to revitalise and rebalance body and mind.
Aromatherapy massage : Essential (plant) oils have individual characteristics. When blended they have specific properties such as refreshing, warming, uplifting, relaxing…. An essential oil prescription is chosen and blended for client's skin type and conditions to be treated. They have distinct "aromas" hence aromatherapy massage - a body treatment with essential oils. Restorative and calming.
Indian Head massage: A de-stress treatment for headaches, sinus congestion, anxiety, tension, eye strain, stiff neck and shoulder muscles. The use of essential oils also promotes healthy scalp and hair.
Pregnancy Massage: Helping "Mums to be" relax. Regular gentle massage can release tension, reduce swollen feet and legs and soothe aching back and shoulder muscles. Massage enhances "Mum's" relationship with her body and unborn child. An indispensable part of her pre-natal routine.
Reiki Natural Japanese Healing Therapy: results in a feeling of well being and calm.
Indulgence : Why not pamper yourself with a fragrant body massage, luxurious rose facial or a decadent foot treatment ?
Clients say - "..an oasis of calm…. wonderful treatment….my neck and shoulders feel so much better…a great massage! "
