A survery of renters has been carried out, which found that nearly 65 per cent claim to have been charged unreasonable fees. Another 73 per cent said they have had an unfair amount of money deducted from their deposit, while close to 17 per cent revealved they have experienced an unreasonable rent rise.
The Managing Director of PropertyLetByUs, Jane Morris, said the results of this poll demonstrate the importance of agents explaining why certain charges are necessary.
