Young Legends is part of the council’s strategy to help children build confidence, make friends and develop new skills that will help children to successfully manage their transition to secondary school.
New to the schedule this year is an introduction to coding by the team at Code Ninjas Epsom.
Lee Richards, the Owner of Code Ninjas Epsom told us: “We are really excited to be a part of the Young Legends this year, and the team are really looking forward to inviting so many kids into the coding dojo.
Hopefully, all of the participants will finish up their six-week placements with some coding skills and some new friends.
There places filled up really fast, so we clearly have lots of local kids who are curious about coding.”
