I’ve been a member of the FSB Northern Ireland for roughly 2 years now and I have to say they have been hugely supportive, particularly during the pandemic. They have a fantastic website which is an excellent resource and hugely engaging networking meetings. Keep it up!

As a very small business, sole trader in retail, I have found the support of the FSB really useful and I always feel like someone has my back. As a sole trader I am very much alone but I can always turn to the FSB for advice and assistance. They have helped me with advice on several occasions and I find them all very amiable. Something I always worry about is a audit from HMRC but I know they are there to assist should it be needed. I know they campaign for all of us and that's also a massive reassurance.

I have been a member for 27 years, and throughout that time, have found there services extremely helpful to a small business. The legal team are excellent, and having left the insurance services three years ago have just renewed with the FSB Insurance service. Easy to do and set up by two men who have worked alongside small business for many years. Thank you.

Joined the FSB webinar on 4th February 2021 regarding the Supreme Court Judgement on Business Interruption insurance. Very good speakers and content. Now feel better equipped to follow this through with our Insurance Company. Also will look to get a quotation from the Insurance Team at FSB moving forwards. Thank you

I have been a proud member for ten years and have found their products, services and advice to be invaluable, particularly during the pandemic.

The help I received from my local FSB Development Manager meant I was able to secure much-needed grant funding when I had lost hope. He went way above the call of duty in my hour of need, for which I will always be grateful.

What's more, while suffering from Covid-related health issues the team at FSB Care were amazing, supporting me through a particularly tricky time.

I recently attended a zoom meeting held by the FSB in relation to the high court ruling on business insurance. I found this to be very informative and well explained. This was a free meeting for members and non members alike, which I also appreciated as I am not currently a member but have been considering joining for a while.

I attended a very well thought-out and presented webinar on business insurance. I wasn't sure I was going to learn anything new as I'd done my own research but that wasn't the case at all - I picked up a lot of useful information, some of which I will be able to discuss with our broker. I always recommend the FSB to anyone starting or running a small business (having been a member for something like 20 years!), and the webinars, and phone advice I've received from the legal and employment helplines during this past year (of Covid-19) have made all the difference to this very confusing and stressful time.

It was an excellent presentation. The speakers made it very easy to understand what had transpired as a result of the Supreme Court Hearing. The only down side is the fact that I now accept that I cannot see how I can make a valid claim!!

The FSB has been really supportive since I joined in 2012. During this covid lockdown, Simon reached out to offer support when he found out I was going through a lot. His advice and support helped me get access to all the govt support I could access. I don't know how I would have been able to shield, lose my business and now, looking at relaunching again without their support and signposting. The webinars they put on are equally educative with resources to help SMEs. If you're a small business, you would do yourself good by joining the FSB. It's a no-brainer especially their Legal Hub where you can find sample letters and policies to adapt to suit your business needs and ensure compliance. Take advantage today of the resources they have at your disposal.

This was a very informative event and I would be keen to become a member of the FSB. I have followed the supreme court hearing closely as this has been a devastating time for our business and I am appalled by the lack of help offered by our insurers.

I joined a webinar hosted by FSB which was very helpful around issues relating to business interruption and the recent High Court test case. There were a number of experts who were able to explain the implications for small businesses and answer questions. FSB webinars are generally very informative and supportive.

I've just attended an FSB webinar on "Discussing the Supreme Court Business Interruption Insurance Ruling". Although not relevant to my business, it is relevant to some of my clients and has given me some useful pointers and resources to get back to them with.
The webinar was well organised, with timely reminders given before the join date/time. The panel comprised a variety of variously qualified speakers all of whom were given time to speak and they put their respective points across succinctly and clearly. The webinar was expertly led by Craig Moore of the FSB who ensured it started and finished promptly at the published times.

The webinar today reinforces the importance of the role FSB plays for SMEs who neither have the time or money to pursue larger corporations/businesses when they are treated unfairly. Our insurance provider declined our original claim with verbose legal jargon. I think I am now equipped to retort as FSB & FCA have made it easier for me to respond based on the Supreme Court rulings and the user friendly applications (e.g. policychecker).
