The investment you make in FSB membership is returned 10 fold, if not more for small and medium businesses. From a practical day-to-day point of view, there's direct clear guidance through its legal, employment or tax helplines (plus others) which when you're in need would otherwise cost a fortune. The built in insurances as part of membership. Then there's its organisational campaigning on issues which protect business owners. I have recommended this to many others like me as being one of the best items of expenditure you can make

Despite having not renewed my previous membership, I was recently contacted by FSB regarding an industry specific grant that I wasn't aware of. My application was originally rejected however when FSB got involved my application was accepted and improved and I am now in receipt of a substantial payment which will go far in sustaining my business over these difficult months. Needless to say, I have renewed my membership!!

FSB's legal help saves me more than the membership costs each year. Solicitors are pricey! Just having all the legal documents I need for things like employee contracts, rental agreements, and so forth keeps me from having to hire someone to craft those for me. Brill! Mind you, the most amazing work they do is that they fight for the rights of small businesses. Their work changing laws and legislation won us all the 10% tax rate on the sale and closure of our businesses. The free legal aide is just icing on the cake.

I attended this Webinar with Dan Stoner as the main speaker. Dan was a great personality and shared his expertise well. The Video he featured was well made and to the point. He is a very experienced Videographer but got the message out clearly, with humour and personality. He also offered to answer anything Viddyoze or Video related by email so totally reachable. Tina Conner did a great job facilitating and hosting. Well done all. Usual fsb High Standard

This was a great presentation by Dan, simple and easy to follow. great tips and answers in the Q&A. Refeshingly honest with his replies about the areas of his expertise. Yet offers of help and advise in those other areas in which he dosen't claim to be an expert in. Also, very encouraging in terms of the equipment and level of skill needed to get going.

FSB have been a great resource over the 18 or so years we have been a member.
Access to specialist helplines, particularly legal and taxation, various services eg insurance, credit card processing plus general information and networking have all been a real help but especially since Covid-19 hit; we have been offered free training and advice particularly with webinars etc. Great support operation, and for a very reasonable cost. Canot recommend highly enough.

Thank you so much to the FSB. I have had such useful information through the training they offer as part of the membership. Today was about POA for your business and Wills - I had not thought about what would happen if I could not run my business etc., so thank you for bringing this to my attention. Also had great and quick advice about sub-contractors and rights to work in the uk. Which put my mind at rest. The networking is great and specific to areas as well, but no restriction on the ones you can join. People are on hand to have a chat through ideas and ask for advise as well. A Big Thank you.

I highly recommend becoming a member of the FSB due to the support and networking opportunities given. Recently, they helped me secure a discretionary Covid grant from my local council for which I am very grateful for. Hisashi Kuboyama has been ever so helpful is any dealings I have had with him and his assistance helped ensure I was awarded the grant which is very important to the business.

We have been a member of the FSB for only 2 months and already it's been well worth the membership fee. During that time we have been introduced to an IP lawyer, received some free advice and been supported (on appeal) with a successful COVID19 recovery funding application.
I cannot recommend Robert Downes and Simon Edmondson highly enough to any Small or Medium Sized Businesses looking for support, whatever it may be.
