I had the honour of staying here in January 2023 and we were in 339 and it was just like the pictures on the website. The room was really spacious and had a large bathroom too. The decor was very calming and loved the prints of Eastbourne. There was even a tassimo machine which I had not seen in a hotel room before. The hotel is so well situated next to pier and near shops. It was lovely. Tesco Express about 5 mins away behind hotel. I had always looked at the hotel over the year on day trips so felt privileged that I could stay there for a bargain price in winter. Loved the creaky old lifts and having a real room key. The upkeep on this Grade II listed building must be immense.

I was incredibly impressed with the help David offered on the business MOT call. It was really helpful, thorough advice that is easy to digest and implement. In a world that is pretty alien to me - the business world - David helped to provide a road map that is easy to navigate and that makes perfect sense, even to someone like me who has had little to no previous experience with this kind of thing. With my mum we had a great experience visiting during lunchtime. Firstly, the pub smelled of clean, which you cannot really tell about many others 😉 and the service was excellent, from being greeted with a big smile to the service at the table which was superb! We had mash and sausages, roast beef with potatoes and a portion of cheese cauliflower. Everything was delicious and the poetions were huge so we couldn't finish... we will definitelly visit again if in the area!

Excellent staff , excellent location, excellent value. I don’t know how anyone can pay the extremely low prices and complain about anything, it’s a bit dated but clean . If you want the Ritz pay the prices.
