Great service and quality of food, served hot. Had steak with peppercorn and the missus has the fried aubergines. both cooked to order and delicious<br>Only minor complaint was that we had to wait a little longer then expected. But overall a very good experience

Very disappointing experience indeed. Started off ok waiting staff seemed attentive and on the ball but it didn't last. Got our starter. After that waited for ages for plates to be taken away and then at least a full half hour or more before we got our main course. Again a long wait before dessert. Ordered 2 coffees after that and only got 1 had to call someone over to get the other.<br>While all this was going on other people were coming in and being served before us and quickly!! Food ok. Over priced. You expect decent service if you are paying those prices surely!<br>Perhaps we were invisible?<br>Would not go again or recommend.

Sadly this place has gone downhill recently with very average food and rather indifferent service. In the last few weeks I have had both dined here and had a takeaway and the food has been rather bland. It's still busy and you will have to book for a Friday or Saturday night but it's a shame that the food standards seem to have slipped after such a promising start, it used to be so good.

Superb food served by cheerful servers and great atmosphere.<br>This must be the best restaurant in Eastbourne and that includes the Grand eateries. Try the liver and prosciutto with melon. Delicious. Reasonable prices too
