The kids (age 2 & 6) were mesmerised! And throughly enjoyed the shoes! As did we! Lots n lots of laughs at the panto!! Thank you for a fab couple of evenings 😊

The feel of this old theatre is absolutely amazing. Deffinatly worth popping along to one of the many awesome shows they put on there. They do some amazing performances.

The Panto was top class entertainment. Traditional but with a Up-To-Date feel that was very clever.
The theatre is a lovely building and obviously loved by the people who work there. It felt like I was in the front room of every member of staff's home because they kind of owned the place. My only downside would be the Bar. £4 for a tin of Cider or John Smiths is too steep and not very inviting. The coffee was a sachet of instant with UHT milk carton. Just a thought - maybe buy some local Sussex bottled Craft beers and invest in a filter coffee machine with a jug of milk in the fridge.
That said - the place is a great advertisement of community.

My Partner and I had the chance to go and see the easter Panto Robin Hood and his Merry Men by Wicked Productions and we wasn't dissapointed. It was very funny like pantomine's should be.Well done to the Royal Hippodrome Theatre for letting them perform at your Theatre. A very good night out. Please let them come back for another production of there's.

Six of us came to see the show which was fantastic, very funny and cleverly done.
It is a lovely theatre and so much more personal than the larger venues, we have been to quite a few shows there now that they are booking more acts which appeal to our taste

Wonderful old Victorian Theatre with real atmosphere & character….. & warm as well!
What a laugh we had, &.from start to finish, it was witty, slick and entertaining. ‘Silly Willy’ certainly entertained & encouraged the audience to participate all the way through. We enjoyed this really modern pantomime, which was refreshing to see move into the 21st century to please both adults & children alike. All the cast were excellent without exception & a particular mention for the bad bad Sheriff of Nottingham, who projected his part extremely well..
WE SHALL GO AGAIN WITH OUR 10 YR OLD NIECE (who could not make the Eastbourne show), DEFINITELY TO THE WHITE ROCK THEATRE IN HASTINGS ON THE 11TH APRIL!

Yet again on a visit to Eastbourne I caught a show at the Hippodome this time Ceri Dupree. Lots of fun and so glad this old theatre is still alive.
The dedication of the people involved should be encouraged and financed or yet again another theatre so much apart of our heritage will be lost. Can't wait for my next long weekend off.

Hilarious from start to finish! We were a group of pensioners and we all joined in the fun and games. Although it was called a rehearsal, it all seemed to be seamless entertainment and the quality of the jokes and the singing voices was very high. The Hippodrome is a lovely old theatre with volunteer helpers which makes for a really friendly, family atmosphere. My favourite theatre in Eastbourne!
