It is review time again for Mina O’Brien at Ditzy Media. This review is to thank Mina for her efforts in writing some award applications for me. As you will see from my previous reviews, written content is not my forte as I tend to ramble! In order to boost my business profile I decided to enter a number of Business Awards as part of the Sussex Business Awards program. There were two Awards that I felt capable of entering with the prospect of nomination they were Best Small Business and Most Promising New Business. Mina drafted the nominations for both of these awards and an award for Entrepreneur of the Year, which was basically a BOGOF offer from the Sussex Business Awards. Mina came up with some interesting angles to show me in a good light and to help me potentially stand out from the crowd. It worked as I was called by two representatives of the company sponsoring the Most Promising New Business Award, we had a half hour telephone interview to determine whether I would make the shorter shortlist and for a few weeks it was very notable news that I could Tweet about. Unfortunately, I didn’t proceed to the nominations, but it was clear that Mina’s copy had certainly caught the judges’ attention. Again, Mina has come through with a very well structured solution for this Small Business Owner, her writing does work as she wrote her application for Most Promising New Business in the Eastbourne Business Awards and was shortlisted and highly commended a few weeks after my submissions. So if you need any form of Social Media support or Copywriting, Mina O’Brien of Ditzy Media comes highly recommended.

When my mother in law came to visit she had told me that her watch battery had stopped but she couldn't find a battery in her local shops that seemed to be the right size (the watch came from abroad and we were unsure of the right type). We were in town and I took her to Chatfields and straight away they had a look and had the battery swapped putting a smile on her face, and at very ressonable cost. Very friendly and helpful staff with plenty of knowledge and advice. Highly recommended!

Mina of Ditzy Media has not only been a great person to know from a business point of view - but she is generally a great person to know! We met initially via networking and I saw her give a couple of presentations on what she does. She is a very likeable person and this is what made me feel that I could work with her. She is recently been in to give me some Social Media training that has been invaluable. I picked up so many great tips which have saved me so much time and the advice on FB advertising and boosting posts has been great and really worked well for my business. I would highly recommend her.
