I worked with Christopher together with my family to help us structure and conduct the funeral service for my late mother at the end of 2023. It was a difficult, emotional and challenging time and he provided valuable support to both me and my family to help structure the funeral service in terms of selecting the hymns, readings, prayers, music and with the eulogy. His guidance and wise counsel helped me and the family to navigate the order of service and his high standard of care and empathy in conducting the service was appreciated, even extending to offering to read the eulogy if I was unable to continue to do so for emotional reasons.
I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone who needs guidance, advice, support and empathy to help design and conduct a personalised service.

I recently used the services of Chris, as my partner of over 40 years passed away this year.
I found Chris to be caring, compassionate and very easy to talk to. He conducted the service with empathy and understanding, despite never having met my partner, his speech at David's funeral seemed to me like he knew him.
I was recommended to him and I would highly recommend Chris in turn.
He is very approachable, and has good listening skills. He conducts his work with a timely and organised approach.

We asked Christopher to conduct my Fathers Funeral back in October 2020 at Eastbourne Crematorium, we had met with Christopher a week earlier and gave him our thoughts on how we would like the ceremony conducted and he guided us on all the things we needed help with, he didn’t let us down.
On the day we arrived and he took control and organised everyone to enter the Chapel and then took us through the ceremony, Christopher has a calming voice and acted in a very professional manner while showing empathy and a natural warmth. I would not hesitate in recommending Christopher for any event as I’m sure he would act in the same professional manner as he did with us

Christopher made contact with us following the passing of our beloved Mother which was organised by our Funeral Directors, Initially there was a meeting with myself and 2 sisters which we were a little apprehensive about as we wanted to get things right for the service. Following the initial introduction Christopher managed to put our minds at rest from the beginning as he made a real effort to get a sense of who we were and more importantly who our Mum was, explaining his services and proceedings explaining how he was there to support us through what was a difficult time. Fast-forward to the day itself and it could not of gone better in terms of Conducting the service and delivering our mums Eulogy written by ourselves and making sure I had the strength to deliver a short speech also and ready to jump in if it got too much.
There was a clear message from him that his support stretched further than just the ceremony in terms of dealing with Grief and made sure we were aware he was available if needed to support us further in difficult times, Whilst we did not take advantage of this as my sisters and I are lucky to be able to support each other it was a very nice safety net to know someone was there to help if needed from a non-religious view point.
We could not speak highly enough of his professionalism and ability to understand the family’s needs at this sad time and for that we are extremely grateful

Christopher met with my brother and I after my mother’s death to help us design a service which met our non-religious needs. He provided help, advice and suggestions on how the service might run but most importantly, he listened carefully to our wishes, thoughts and concerns to ensure what we decided on was right for our Mum. Having just lost someone and trying to plan a funeral is a super difficult time for anyone, especially when your thoughts are all over the place and you don’t really know where to start. We asked the funeral director for some help finding someone who would respect our wish to have a non religious ceremony and be able to help us retell stories at my dad’s funeral. From the moment Chris walked through the door to meet us, we all felt such relief, he put us at ease straightaway and was genuinely
just a nice guy. We had complete confidence that he would not only do the ceremony as we asked, even with some of the colourful stories, but also in a really kind and professional way. Thank you Chris for your support over such a difficult time for us.
