Having visited this hotel during different times during the year, they always have fabulous offers. These include, March Madness, Summer Vacations and Tinsel and Turkey. The staff are fabulous all year round and nothing is too much trouble. This hotel retains the personal touch despite having approaching 200 rooms. I cant wait for my next break.

Just returned from a 5 day trip with Shearings to the Burlington. We have been 3 times this year and though it is a little tired it is always clean and well run by Chris and her friendly staff. The Xmas theme is well presented.the entertainment is great and well hosted as usual by Mark..We could watch Ray Campbell every week,a great all round entertainer. The hotel was well decorated throughout. The restaurant has a good menu and a very nice Xmas dinner served to us by the very efficient Maggi.Great value.

We arrived after a long miserable coach journey in atrocious weather,A lady called Chris explained some of the procedures to the coach load .We were checked in at reception quickly and directed us to our room.our luggage was delivered from the coach to room by hotel staff while we had a drink at the bar,
Our room was booked as a basic,it was warm clean spacious and comfortable
The food was superb, hot and plentiful,The Restuarant staff were friendly and efficient. In fact credit to all the staff for making our stay remember able .Mark Snow the entertainment guy was hilarious and made our evenings such good fun.We will certainly go again.

Loved it! What can I say fabulous location great hotel, food superb excellent staff. We've been to Shearings Majestic Eastbourne before twice and did enjoy it no complaints. However, the Burlington is so much closer to town and pier for buses and a fabulous hotel too so now our firm favorite. Not that I wouldn't go to the Majestic again or recommend it. First holiday with Shearings since beginning of year and first time we saw self service at breakfast. How much better can it get! Do enjoy having meal served to you at night still though. We didn't see much of the entertainment but seemed ok. At the end of the day there is entertainment and you can choose to go or plenty of seats outside of room to sit even overlooking sea albeit dark at night but still well lit and overlooking pier. Didn't do trips went to Brighton on bus. Sunday Eastbourne was buzzing and a street market on as well. Lots of shops open. Our room was excellent we paid for standard plus (only rooms left) £15 each for the 3 nights but wouldn't normally pay extra as never had bad room yet..

This hotel looks directly onto the pier, the location is good. Its well worth getting a room with a sea view.

A lot of coach excursions stay here and I can see why. For retired people the evening entertainment is good. The staff are of mixed nationalities and friendly.

I only ate a breakfast in the hotel, it was plentiful and of a good standard.

The décor in this hotel is tired and appears to be undergoing some modernisation. The stairways still have wood chip on the walls and look rather battered.

There are only 2 lifts in this hotel which are small so there can be a wait during busy times.

If you are using your own transport you may have to parked a couple of hundred yards away in the height of the season. Parking is not free.

I would stay here again purely because the atmosphere is warm and friendly.

It was my first Best of Event and found the discussion around customer avatar really insightful. I also loved the open discussion around the tables. Thanks David

This theatre is an Eastbourne Gem. Run by a wonderful husband and wife and there team that are second to none
The welcome you get when you arrive sets the tone for the evening.
Now they have a home grown pantomime Christmas and Easter and a wonderful summer show well done to one and all
I love this theatre and how it is run with LOVE that makes you want to go back again and again.

Attended my first TheBestOf event this week and I highly recommend! David phoned after I registered my entry to introduce himself and explain how he runs the events to ensure you get the most out of it. Great relaxed atmosphere and made to feel very welcome by everyone. Looking forward to attending more!

Always interesting and useful to attend David's Business Meet Up events. Today was really busy. Many new people (welcome to them), lots of inspiration and, even more, lots of follow up. If you're not a member already, you should be asking yourself why not? Don't give it too much thought, though , because, to be honest, it's a no brainer! thanks again, David!
