Brainiacs was an amazing show. It entertained both adults and children. The theatre was a lovely environment to be in. Looking forward to going there again.

We were booked in the front row so that we could see but unfortunately there was a speaker right in front of us which restricted our view of the stage

Run by volunteers who seem to love what they do, this theatre is very welcoming and a joy to visit. a volunteer informed me the theatre is 134 years old now, it is beautiful. Parking can be a challenge, like most things in Eastbourne the multi storey carparks close ridiculously early, most busses disappear before 8pm.

Eastbourne traditional theatre venue. Workshop production of a David Walliams children's book about the first Hippo on the moon. The animal characters were hand operated and their speech provided by the workshop crew. The very entertaining storyline was well presented throughout with moments of interaction with the audience.
Whilst the venue is quite old t wasn't shabby & the staff (mostly voluntary I think) were very friendly & helpful,
We shall be returning for other productions. Price are comparable with cinema tickets, with options for family groups.

My four year old thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Madagascar, she was singing and dancing along. Refreshments were reasonably priced, £1 drink and £2 ice cream. Even the programme wasn't expensive. Great view from our seat and the ticket wasn't expensive. Definately going back!

First time to this theatre today and on first impressions it looks pretty grotty from the outside but inside it's a treat. Lovely small theatre with everything you need. Clean and comfortable with lots of booster seats available to everyone with little ones.
Show was great and it was particularly nice that the characters came out in the interval for photographs with the children.
Really lovely and helpful staff. We will look at what's on to come again.
