Great pub with good service and great music acts.
We saw Dirty Martinis who were very good everyone dancing and enjoying the great atmosphere.
Efficient bar staff and food looked great too.

We'd been to the Crown & Anchor previously, so were expecting great pub grub.
Our orders were efficiently taken and the drinks were perfect, however, the food was on this visit disappointing.We both had fish & chips, and the batter on the fish was rather soggy and the chips soft and a little under-cooked.
We're not sure we'll be back .... a reputation lost on us !!

A great little pub with atmosphere, locals meat here and it was nice to chat with them, we had a casual meal there which was very generous and tasty.

Came for the band. Very lively. Service was good. Drinks were a little expensive (but the band was free, so it's expected). Many people eating but I didn't, so can't comment on the food. Had a GREAT night.

We really love this pub however come summer times we tend to go else where,we find year after year the chairs outside the front are really uncomfortable, very bad quality. It's such a shame because this weekend the Carnival is in town and as much as we would like to be at the Crown & Anchor, we will be choosing another venue.
If only those chairs were of better quality!

Popped in at lunch time and had amazing fish and chips. The food was lovely and fresh... large portions! Enjoyed it so much went back at night to listen to the live band. Had such a good night, highly recommended. Will definately come back when in the area again.

Stopped here for a drink and ended up having evening meal . Starter was lovely and we were asked if we would like our main straight away or to wait which was nice .
Main course was enormous but delicious ! Huge portions . Waitress was fab and on the ball . Definitely worth a visit .

Nice pub, not far from the pier and friendly staff. would of eaten here but decided on a curry instead at the last moment. I was told though it was recommended to book as it gets busy.

The pub is on the seafront and has outside seating as well as inside. It serves a good selection of freshly cooked meals.The staff are friendly and helpful and it has a traditional pub atmosphere which can be hard to find nowdays. We all enjoyed our meal. It is wheelchair accessible - however -be aware that at present there is not a wheelchair accessible disabled toilet. Our hotel was close so this was not an issue. We were told that a disabled toilet is planned.

Been to this Pub before for Sunday Roast & it was gorgeous so returned today & we both had a Steak which was absolutely delicious! The Steaks were cooked perfect, nice & hot & the portions were huge! Excellent value, lovely staff & just such a really good pub! Will always go back when we are in Eastbourne!!
