I can always make sure my family have their orders on time and don’t have to worry as I know the team at Coda will sort everything out! Lovely hotel and excellent spa. strange that you can only book 2 nights over a weekend directly (including calling) but can book 1 night via other websites. Apart from that, the Spa team were excellent and checking was a breeze (room was ready early!). I have seen lots of comments about the hotel being run down - I have yet to see any sign of that. It's probably not "5 star luxury" but still very nice.

A quintessential hotel just across from the road from the beach.
The decor and ambience of the hotel takes you back to a bygone era when the English grand hotels were st their best.
Inside, the decor feels plush, except for a few tired areas that need renovating and refurbishing.
We went for cocktails. At £20 each the service really needs to live up to the price. Slow and awkward, the service needs to come across as better than ‘kids trying’. Plus, the menus were sticky and it could do with a dust (See picture).

My 6th year staying at The Grand, stayed for 2 weeks over the tennis period. As usual everything was simply wonderful, the service, the rooms and evening meals...perfect. See you all next year!

Best Hotel experience we have ever had, been to a few but none match this hotel. You pay for quality and that's exactly what you get and more.
The staff are so helpful and friendly, nothing is too much for them to help your stay be an enjoyable one( hats off to the two concierge's Carl and Dave, they were so helpful and chatty).

Pity it's no longer Mammoth Bootfairs as there seemed to be fewer stalls and buyers. I could be wrong though as it's deceptive on the fields with its higgledy-piggledy layout. Still plenty of everything though.
