We popped in on our second night in Eastbourne as the pub was closest to our hotel. A clean and tidy chain pub. However at £4.35 for a pint of Carling we didn't go back.

We visited this pub twice during our stay at a nearby hotel, one time for a family meal. The pub itself has a lovely atmosphere and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. We had our dog with us on both occasions and the staff made a fuss of him and brought him some water.
There is a good selection of drinks including some real ales. We also found the food to be fantastic. All of our group of 6 had different meals and we were all very pleased with them, with my son saying that the ribs he had were the best ever.

What a lovely little pub. Food was fantastic and the bar staff were lovely, so helpful and all seemed so cheerful. Food was really nice and very reasonable. A real gem. Seems to be very busy in the evenings due to live entertainment so top tip get their before 7pm to ensure you get a table.

Watched the football and had some great ribs. Nice pub atmosphere and very friendly staff. No loud music in the background. Recommended.

Very good location, right on the front - the only pub as far as we could tell that was. Saturday lunchtime on a fairly grey day a very buzzy atmosphere filled with locals and tourists. The football was on the television but it wasn't intrusive.
We had sandwiches and chips both good.Unlike most of the rest of Eastbourne which is tired and needs a makeover this pub was somewhere that shows foreign tourists the best side of Britain.

Stopped off for lunch. A good selection of beer, cider, wine etc was available. We decided to have a sandwich lunch. with a side serving of chips. I had brie and my partner a cheddar cheese sandwich. There was certainly no scrimping with the fillings and the sandwiches were served with a lovely fresh salad. The chips were delicious and were also freshly cooked.

A very comfortable, well-staffed pub just off the seafront near the pier. The food is excellent. Popular with locals and holidaymakers alike - and they really are dog friendly too! Live music Thursdays, Friday's and Saturdays. Highly recommended.

Lovely friendly bar with great food served promptly with no hassles. It also has music venues 3 or 4 times a week. Old fashioned styled English pub.

On the road parallel to the front and facing the sea, this is an excellent, friendly local serving good, indeed excellently kept, beer and food with a smile. If I lived in, rather than was only visiting Eastbourne, I would make this a regular "pit stop". A comfortable and well appointed pub with a separate "sports bar" section, this was a friendly pub with chatty locals and engaging, cheerful bar staff. Highly recommended.
