With only a handful of deliveries to compare, it requires a year to get a good perspective on home delivery versus postal.
Except one instance, the home postal delivery has been much quicker.
The pharmacy where I used to collect my monthly meds, never had the package ready. When you called in to pick up your meds, they prepared it. Sometimes taking 45-50 minutes. No seating available.
Pressing a few buttons on the correct day, assuming your meds are readily available, means the postman/woman, will leave you package at your doorstep if you are not home, or in the lobby, even if you are! We wait and see what is usual for Royal Mail. Leaving medicine in a package in a lobby for all to see, especially as some of it is toxic to those not used to its effects, is an unusually (or maybe not?) casual form of delivery.
Coda provided the medication in a strong, well filled, box 📦. More quickly than my overworked, previous pharmacy.
So, I guess, so far so good.
