Popped in here for a quick drink early one afternoon......and didn't leave until nr closing time. Heidi and her staff were very friendly. It happened to be Heidi's birthday so it was like a party all afternoon and night. The food looked good and very reasonably priced.
Karaoke was on in the evening and everyone got involved and made it a very very enjoyable day.

Some of the best traditional British food I've had in a long time. Great ale served at the perfect temperature. Live music (visited on a Saturday) made for a fantastic night down the pub.

There were 21 of us heading to the Crown after a 3 hour walk up Beachy Head. They sweetly were happy to seat us and feed us even after the kitchen technically stopped serving lunch at 3pm, we got there at 4pm.
The food was very hearty and tasty - just what was needed!The staff couldn't have been more accommodating.

This is my latest visit to this wonderful establishment on Eastbourne seafront and I felt it was a nice evening to be there.
The licensee and staff were very professional in the way they did their jobs and helped make the atmosphere a truly marvellous one.
The karaoke was also a fabulous feature in the pub on that magical evening.
I will definitely return to this pub again in the near future.

Went here recently with friends to see a ska band and thought we would grab a meal as well. Every person in our group of seven said it was one of the best meals they had in a pub for value and taste. The band were brilliant as well and no waiting for drinks at the very busy bar due to lots of dancing staff !

We did not eat in here we went in to watch the rugby as our hotel was not showing it and as it was on early don't think they where serving food. Although we went back in the evening for a drink on the way to cosmo for dinner and saw people eating and wished we had of gone there to eat as well
