Cheap asn cheerful yup get what you pay for. The room was comfortable and big enough. On site bar and close to everything we needed .Nice breakfast with plenty of choice, lots of tables available, staff were friendly although reception staff were possibly too friendly or nosey. Only 1 very small lift working, not good for those who suffer from confined spaces. The decor and rooms quite dated. Lots of maintenance needed. Dark corridors, better lighting would be better. Could do with a good clean in some areas or bathrooms shower seals and basins.some areas of our bedroom carpet looked as though there had been a leak of some sort.

Underwhelmed Great views ,very good breakfast evening meals were ok and a different menu every night very friendly staff ,special mention to the bar and waiting staff Dispite saying in description daily hospitality we did not get any hospitality apart from one day after we asked three times even then they did no cleaning just left fresh t bags, bathroom floor was sticky having not seen a mop for a while. The hotel is very run down and requires a lot of work ,torn and stained carpets loads of tatty paint the jobs that were done weren't finished ,the windows in our room were such a bad loose fit it was permanent noise and wind, the towel rail had no control and was baking hot day and night

Great location, staff helpful, good breakfast, building tired. The location was the reason we picked this hotel, in the centre of the town and within easy walking distance for the theatre. Lots of places to eat nearby, and a well lit car park. There was plenty of choice at breakfast. The building was tired and needed TLC. The bathroom was very narrow and needed a new coat of paint, the towel rail didn't work, the bin hadnt been emptied properly - old teabags remained. Only 1 lift was working which was slow and could only hold 2 people.

Does the job for a cheap hotel stay. Hotel is in a great location, has a bar, restaurant and friendly staff. Inexpensive & decent sized double rooms. Rooms were very outdated, bathroom looked like it hadn’t been renovated for 20 years. There were patches on the ceilings/walls from damp or leaks and there was bird poo on the inside of the curtains. Only 3 plug sockets and none near the bed which wasn’t ideal.
