Overall impression -shabby! The bedrooms and bathrooms had had some refurbishment! In room 314 the bathroom door did not close and the surround need a repair around bottom hinge , the shower surround and doors of the shower enclosure were very grubby . The windows, the sills and frames in desperate need of attention and painting! The bar closed, even to residents at 22:00 /22:30 even though advertised in the room information open until late. We returned after an evening out and almost had to please for a night cap! The breakfast buffet ran out of orange juice and wholemeal bread, the hot buffet was ok but eggs were luke warm and swimming in oil. The restaurant staff over the weekend not attentive but better this morning, Monday, as fewer guests. There was no background music in the public areas/bar area and the ladies toilet was down stairs in the basement, again had been refurbished but unfinished. We were very disappointed

My laptop has been really slow for some time and I was just in the process of buying a new one until someone recommended Andrew. I phoned Andrew with the intention of getting advice on buying a new laptop but he said he would look at my laptop first. I dropped it off at 10.30am, and by 1.50pm it was all sorted. My laptop is now fast and Andrew has saved me a lot of money! I will use his services again and also recommend him to friends and contacts

Friendly staff who are helpful and approachable.
Clean rooms and beautiful view of the pier and beach.
Dog friendly hotel.
Food was lovely and chef accomodating.
Great location to either beach or town
Only downside was no pressure in showers.
Would definitely recommend for people to stay.

I give this venue 3* for one reason only...they only take cards at the bar!!! No cash?
Admittedly I resolved the issue by opening an account at reception... but seriously...are we still under Covid restrictions?

Whether in the stalls or the circle the view of the stage is excellent. For Suggs I sat three rows from the front the view and sound were excellent, as was Suggs. The staff and volunteers are extremely welcoming which enhances your visit even more as they clearly enjoy what they are doing. The programme planned for this theatre is well thought out and I would highly recommend seeing a show here. Oh, and if you haven't seen Suggs, you should, laughed all the way through!
