2nights in Eastbourne Dining room very nice with large choice of breakfast. I had dinner included - couldn't fault it. Room very tired. A scratched sink. .Old furniture. Needs updating.
Water not piping hot.

We were satisfied with our stay at the hotel and received satisfactory and friendly response . Breakfast was well thought out and was value for money. We were extremely happy that the cost of parking our car in the car park was included in the cost of our stay at the hotel. The bed could be made more comfortable.

Good location, friendly staff, however decor very dated and excessive charges for dogs. Location, staff friendly. People smoking at the front door.
Excessive Charge of £20 per night for a small dog. I have stopped in many dog friendly hotels and thus is the most I have ever paid at any hotel including hotels with higher star rating and this did not include a water bowl which is standard in any dog friendly hotel . The room was not cleaned daily.

The bell was not working on the door leading to the car park, so we had to walk round the front with all luggage. One if the lifts was not working.

In general the hotel was clean but dated, flaking paint on bedroom window and wallpaper coming away from the wall.

Position on the seafront and lovely staff. Badly needs renovating, windows are rotten and rattle in the wind. Only one lift working.

I would go back any time It is near the pier and by the shopping centre. It is an old building where I felt I was back in time. I liked it, but I know nowadays people want excellent in modern. The Burlington hotel is not modern, but beautiful, old with kind staff and good food.
The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Most important for us.
The upgraded room was amazing - beautiful room, amazing view.
Our standard single was huge and comfortable, but the window in the bathroom was not working, had mould on. But it was covered and I dis not mind. To keep up these places costs a lot.

Apart from the noise issue which had an affect on my stay everything else was very good. The hotel is good value considering the price paid. Comfortable and spacious. The bar food in the evening was very good and breakfast was good also. I could clearly hear the loud television in the next room for a time late at night which was quite annoying. Thankfully a member of staff dealt with the situation.
