Grateful value lovely people old school cafe experience. Also bubble and squeak takes me back to childhood although for me it needs cabbage and sprouts not sweetcorn. 😂

Such a lovely family business run by husband and wife Kevin and Dee.
Such a wide range of homemade food to choose from and cooked to perfection.
Nothing is too much trouble for them.
What l particularly like is however busy the cafe is, they always have time to talk, showing genuine interest in their customers.
This is quite evident in the amount of regulars coming in and the staff knowing exactly what they want to eat and drink.
Kevin and Dee and all the staff go above and beyond to make the cafe not only a lovely place to eat, but a place to go where people genuinely care and make people feel wanted.
Thank you

A last minute booking to see Absolute Bowie, front row of the Dress Circle and what a great evening. The theatre is beautifully restored and feels intimate, almost like being in someone's front room. All the staff were welcoming and friendly.

How nice to see an old theatre ( over 140 years old) still in use and going strong,
there is a " songs from the musicals" show on a wednesday evening, just right for
those on a weeks holiday in the lovely resort of Eastbourne.

Staying in Eastbourne for 3 days and went to see Sleeping Beauty at the Hippodrome . It was fantastic sooo funny. The team were so professional lovely singing voices, Panto Dame was star of the show, all the kids enjoyed being involved in the show too. I just went yesterday to The Panto in Winchester which costs a fortune and it was definitely not as good as Eastbourne. Well done Hippodrome.

Booked online for a matinee performance, of Priscilla Queen of the desert, sat in the stalls 7 rows back from the stage, excellent view and enjoyed the performance, it’s a good little theatre , quite small in comparison with other theatres in London but still had a good atmosphere.
£22 was value for money compared with a west end show that would cost in the region of four times the amount..
The performance was authentic and the chemistry between the cast was extremely good and funny. Enjoyed all the songs and would highly recommend..

My wife and I, both of us senior citizens, were down from Leicester for a few days and we decided to book tickets for the Screaming Blue Murder Comedy Club, which cost us £12 per ticket, which, now that we’ve attended the show, was superb value. We really didn’t know what to expect paying so little for tickets, and assumed that it would be a bit amateurish, but we were totally wrong as it was so very polished and totally enjoyable. We’d never been in this theatre before, and we loved the fact that it was from another period and took you back to that time as it was beautifully decorated. We went to the bar and got a couple of drinks – the prices were reasonable and the bar staff friendly, as were all members of staff that we met. We sat down in our booked seats in the auditorium, but we were told by the staff that we could move forward if we so wished, which we did – it wasn’t a sell-out, so people were asked to move forward to build up the atmosphere, and some did, but others chose not to on the invitation of the compere, so left themselves wide open to being part of the show due to their reticence, which was quite amusing. Anyway, the compere was hugely funny, and each of the three comedians were funny in totally different ways, so just a thoroughly enjoyable night. We would look to book anything that was on in this theatre if we ever revisited Eastbourne, and would definitely book to attend the comedy club again.
