I have attended two events in the last week and have been so impressed. Jane and Tim have been a great support, introducing me to other businesses and making me feel so welcome. I've attended other events before but wasn't as impressed, as they felt very cliquey and not as relaxed as FSB events. There seems to be a genuine care from the other members, and the talks have been both helpful and insightful. I've already implemented some of what I learned into my business. We have been members of the Kent branch of the FSB for 3 years and enjoy the benefits of legal advice, insurance etc. However, the reason we belong stands out head and shoulders above those benefits! The support we get from Tim Aker (FSB development manager) and Jane Martin (FSB connector) has been enormously helpful to us and our business. They develop such strong relationships with their members and take a real interest in connecting aligned businesses. FSB events are our favourite networking events - great venues, inspirational speakers and lovely people. If you're a small business in Kent I would highly recommend you join now!

FSB is a fantastic membership organisation for solo traders, micro and small businesses. Often these businesses have little support and FSB offer a suite of documentation, links, advice and tools to help them set up proper process and to protect themselves from all kinds of unique issues that come with running a business. The events that FSB put on are excellent and the networking sessions providing access to a support network and a chance to promote your brand and services. Ann and the team really take their time to get to know business owners in the local area and take a personal approach to providing support. A huge thanks!
