Had an evening meal here while staying for a couple of nights in a nearby hotel. The food was very good and the service was fast and friendly. Lovely location close to the seafront.

A very family and dog friendly pub with a varied menu. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed relaxing with vino and the vegetarian sharing platter. Attentive staff who went out of their way to be helpful. Definitely worth a visit.

Our parents live in eastbourne and we visit 3/4 times a year and we always visit the crown and anchor , great location just off the front , nice selection of beers and staff are so friendly and welcoming , I can’t recommend this pub enough , please visit if your in eastbourne

The pub is a short walk from the pier.
The food is excellent and a lot cheaper than expected.
Staff really friendly. Olly, Roz and Sam. Lovely people.
Even laughed at my jokes.

Popped in on the way to our hotel on Friday 29/3/19 to a real warm welcome.
Went back in the evening after a walk baout and ended up having Fish & Chip's , and all I can say is EXCELLENT and for the portion size it was good value to boot ( no curry sauce though, sort it out guys LOL:) )
We will definitely be back.

This really good pub was right next to my hotel, and i visited a couple of times.The staff were very friendly and efficent even though they were busy both times.

I hired the upstairs function room for my 30th birthday party and I literally couldn’t fault it. The food was amazing, the staff were really friendly and helpful with setting up and packing away and it was really reasonably priced, just £100 to hire the room from 7.30-12. We were allowed in from 5.30 to set up. Couldn’t recommend this as a party venue highly enough, it was brilliant.

Love this pub - food is good value especially kids meal. staff are super friendly and have excellent customer service skills. Good range of beers, well equipped sports bar... could go on 5 stars
