First thing I noticed, asking for tip! I tip if service is good, no even asked if my food was OK and I was happy, every cafe in Eastbourne I've been in has asked but not here and they ask you to tip? Food was hot beans and tomatoes burning hot from the microwave, I asked for hard eggs, they looked like they had been ran over!

Nice place although the furniture makes it feel quite dark.
Very friendly staff and really helpfull.
Great garden with awsome little houses for the kids to play in.
Dogs are welcome which is lovely.
The only down side really is not much seating that isn't reserved.
You can still used the reserved seating so isn't all bad but have to move or leave an hour before the reserved time slot on the table so they can clean it etc.
Pricing isn't too bad either.
Chips are yummy and not too expensive and drinks are pretty affordable too.
When I went the ramp door was closed with a sighn to use the other door so not great for buggies or wheel chair users, I'm not sure if that's a common thing or just a one off

In December 2023, DONNA W said about Royal Hippodrome Theatre
This is a wonderful little theatre. We come here very year to see the pantomime, it's half the price of the other larger theatres in Eastbourne but they always put on a fabulous show. We came yesterday to see Snow White and it was absolutely brilliant. View from all of the seats is great and the staff are all so helpful.
